The Munich-born pianist Carolin Danner began her piano studies at the University of Music Augsburg with Christine Olbrich before joining Prof. Elisabeth Athanassova at the Conservatoire in Geneva. She continued her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart in the class of Prof. Hans- Peter Stenzl, and finished with an artist's diploma. In January 2016 she received her "Meisterklassendiplom" at the soloist class of Prof. Silke-Thora Matthies at the University of Music in Würzburg.
Alongside her studies, Carolin Danner received artistic inspiration in master classes for piano and chamber music with Igor Zhukov, Konrad Elser, Volker Stenzl, Niklas Schmidt, Wolf Harden and Menahem Pressler. She has received fellowships from the Leopold-Mozart-Kuratorium Augsburg, the Villa Musica Foundation of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Festival Oberstdorf Music Summer and the Foundation Live Music Now. She received prizes in national and international competitions, including the international piano competitions " Un ricetto in musica " in Candelo and "Palma d' Oro" in Finale Ligure. Carolin Danner teaches piano as an Assistant Professor at the College of Catholic Church Music and Musical Education in Regensburg. In 2014 her solo-CD "Spanish Impressions" was published at the label "animato" and decorated by "Hessischer Rundfunk" and "neue musikzeitung".
